The leader in cloud computing needed eye catching promotional materials to launch their new service. I designed all aspects of the digital path from awareness to trial to subscription.

Immediate impact

The landing page experience featured a video hero and parallax scrolling that triggered transitions and messaging in a sleek animated presentation. The progression of page content was designed to show the benefits of the service then drive users towards a free trial.

Brand elements remixed

To give this new service a distinct but familial look and feel, I took VMware brand elements and played with scale and transparency to create a unique offshoot that still is easily recognizable and on brand.

The microsite we created had access to video content, testimonials, and user forums to share product knowledge.

From try, to buy

Even though this is a complex technology service being marketed to a sophisticated IT audience, the messaging and steps to activate service needed to be simple and straight forward. We designed page flows to eliminate barriers to starting the trial and then kept onboarding easy to get users up and running fast.

Inbox incentives

The final piece of the campaign were email communications to encourage interaction with the service and create loyalty. The design and copywriting teams made templates and messaging that could be customized for multiple customer segments.
